If you buy for retail, wholesale or trading in the UAE, we can source products from Indian vendors and suppliers to your brief, and arrange the shipment to Jebel Ali or another UAE port or airport.
Your brief, your timeline
The UAE is one of the shorter sea routes from India, so the main timing question is usually how long the supplier needs to have the goods ready. Tell us when you need the goods on your shelves or in your warehouse and we work back from that.
If you re-sell onward to other markets, tell us that too, because the documents and labels you need may be different from goods sold locally.
Import checks for the UAE
- The importer normally needs a valid trade licence and customs registration in the UAE. Please confirm with your clearing agent.
- Some products need Arabic or bilingual labelling or a conformity approval. Check for your product before you order.
- India and the UAE have a trade agreement (CEPA). Whether your goods qualify for preferential duty depends on the product and origin rules, and may need a certificate of origin.
- VAT and duty apply on imports. Your clearing agent can confirm the amounts for your HS code.

Does my product need a certificate of origin?
Only if you want to claim preferential duty or if your bank, agent or buyer asks for it. Ask your clearing agent early.
Can you source a custom design or a specific material?
You can send photos, sketches or a reference. We check with suppliers what they can offer before you commit.
